February Readings

Here is the list for this month:

Aeschylus: Agamemnon, Choephoroe (a.k.a The Libation Bearers), Eumenides link, link, link
Sophocles: Oedipus the King, Antigone link

I was able to find translations by Robert Fagles for these pieces, so that's what I'm reading from.  On a personal note, I did a one act version of 'Antigone' back in high school.  I'll see if I can dig up a picture.

  1. Fagles's translations are great. I've read his Iliad, Odyssey, and Aeneid. Let us know how the Aeschylus translations flow.

    1. I found Fagles to be excellent all around. I'm going to keep an eye out for his translations in the future.
