I thought it might be helpful to know when our various subjects were around. Plutarch himself was born in 46 AD and lived until 120 AD. We'll be reading about:
Lycurgus 820 - 730 BC (?)
Numa Pompilius 753 - 673 BC
Alexander 356 - 323 BC
Caesar 100 BC - 44 BC
